The 9.25-inch OTA comes equipped with EdgeHD optics that provide edge-to-edge clarity with bright, aberration-free images. The built-in coma corrector eliminates off-axis coma and field curvature, delivering flat field images. This mean there will be no elongated stars at the edge of your stacked images.

This scope features a 2350mm focal length (f/10), making it perfect for observing and capturing detailed images of the Moon and planets. For deep-sky photography, users can achieve a faster f/7 focal ratio by adding the Celestron Reducer Lens .7x for EdgeHD 925 (sold separately), allowing for stunning images of nebulas and galaxies.

Advanced VX mount & tripod 

The Celestron Advanced VX mount delivers outstanding performance at an affordable price, making it the perfect GOTO mount for beginner astrophotographers. It incorporates Celestron's most advanced technologies, including All-Star Polar Alignment, Celestron CWPI, and Permanently Programmable Periodic Error Correction (PPEC) software.

Its computerised GOTO system, enhanced by PPEC, ensures precise tracking of celestial objects, resulting in crisp, streak-free images. With a 13.6kg payload capacity, it comfortably supports the 9.25-inch EdgeHD SCT OTA, along with a camera or additional accessories.

Additionally, the dual saddle plate accommodates both C-5 and CGE dovetails, making the Advanced VX mount compatible with virtually any optical tube within its weight limit.
