Antlia ALP-T Golden Dual Band Filter - 36mm
Designed for astrophotography in highly-light polluted urban areas, the Antlia ALP-T Golden Dual Band Filter - 36mm (5nm) is recommended for use with one-shot colour (OSC) CMOS cameras.
- Especially useful for astrophotography in urban /city areas with high light pollution
- Transmits Red H-Alpha (Ha) and Blue-Green OIII Main Nebula Emission Lines
- Designed for use with one-shot color CMOS cameras
- Optical density (OD) suppression of 4.5 on unwanted visual wavelengths of 300-1100 nm
- IR/UV-Cut filter
- Suppressed artificial lighting / light pollution from Bortle Scale 1 to Bortle Scale 8
- Great performance at focal ratios greater than f/3, with contrast increasing as focal ratio increases
- Ultra-thin filter cell

For high-performance astronomical imaging.
With advanced multi-coatings, the Antlia ALP-T Golden Dual Band Filter - 36mm (5nm) maximises and isolates the transmission of the Blue-Green Oxygen III and Red H-Alpha (Ha) Nebula Emission Lines.
The Antlia ALP-T Golden Dual-Band Filter - 36mm (5nm) also features astronomical suppression of light pollution from artificial light created by sodium vapour / mercury vapour lamps. In addition, the ALP-T is great at suppressing natural light from atmospheric sky glow (neutral oxygen emission) and moonlight, and hence highly recommended for use in light-polluted urban areas.
You'll also spend less time in post-production, with each Antlia ALP-T Filter individually tested to create exceptional contrast for cleaner images and more effectively isolate those faint details in your astrophotographs.
EXERCISE CAUTION: NOT SUITABLE FOR SOLAR VIEWING: The Antlia ALP-T Golden Dual Band Filter - 36 (5nm) is not suitable for looking at the Sun. Serious eye damage may result.
Optics Central also offers a mounted variant of the Antlia ALP-T: the Antlia ALP-T Golden Dual Band Filter - 2" (5nm).
For telescopes with faster focal ratios (between f/3.6 and f/2.2), the Antlia Fast Golden Dual Band Filter - 2" or the Antlia Fast Golden Dual Band Filter - 36mm are more suitable.
