Antlia Fast Golden Dual Band Filter - 36mm
The Antlia Fast Golden Dual Band Filter - 36mm (5nm) ALP-T is an unmounted filter for astrophotography with one-shot colour (OSC) CMOS cameras mounted to fast f-ratio telescopes in heavily light-polluted areas.
- Unmounted filter with a 36mm diameter
- Designed for fast telescopes with a focal ratio between f/3.6 and f/2.2
- Maximises transmission of Red H-Alpha (Ha) and Blue-Green OIII Main Nebula Emission Lines
- Useful for astrophotography with one-shot color (OSC) CMOS
- Improved signal-to-noise ratio with suppressed visual wavelengths of unwanted light (300-1100 nm) through an optical density of OD4.5
- Suppresses natural / artificial light pollution
- Reduces extreme light pollution: useful for astrophotography from urban locations
- Ultra-thin filter cell
- IR/UV-Cut filter

For next-level astroimaging with your fast, low f-ratio telescope.
The Antlia Fast Golden Dual Band Filter - 36mm (5nm) ALP-T is the unmounted variant of the Antlia Fast ALP-T, especially useful for telescopes with a fast focal ratio between f/3.6 and f/2.2. Through its advanced multi-coatings, the Antlia Fast Golden ALP-T maximises and isolates the transmission of Blue-Green Oxygen III and Red H-Alpha (Ha) Nebula Emission Lines for next-level astrophotography.
The 36mm variant is an unmounted filter with a 36mm diameter.
Known for its incredible suppression of light pollution, the Antlia Fast Golden ALP-T performs best in urban areas with excessive light pollution. With this filter, you'll notice less pollution from natural light coming from the natural sky glow (neutral oxygen emission) of the atmosphere and moonlight, as well as less artificial light from sodium vapour / mercury vapour lamps.
Spend less time in post-production and more time exploring the universe with the Antlia Fast Golden Dual-Band Filter - 36mm (5nm). With each filter individually tested, the Antlia Fast ALP-T creates images that are impressively clean and provides exceptional contrast to emphasise and isolate those all-too-important fainter details in your astrophotographs.
EXERCISE CAUTION: The Antlia Fast Golden Dual-Band Filter - 36mm (5nm) ALP-T is not suitable for looking at the Sun. Serious eye damage may result.
Optics Central also offers a mounted variant of the Antlia Fast ALP-T: the Antlia Fast Golden Dual Band Filter - 2".
For telescopes with slower focal ratios (> f/3.0), the Antlia ALP-T Golden Dual Band Filter - 2" or the Antlia ALP-T Golden Dual Band Filter - 36mm are more suitable.
