Overview Baader's AstroSolar filter offers a safe and secure solar observation through your telescop. Compatible with telescopes and camera lenses featuring apertures between 110-130mm, it comes equipped with Velcro safety straps, pads, and large centering bolts with rubber grips, ensuring a firm and reliable attachment to your optical equipment. The bolt slots feature printed index scales, allowing for quick and repeatable adjustments. The filter incorporates a white outer ring that effectively rejects infrared light. Additionally, raised edges along the inner and outer circumferences provide added protection for the film. Furthermore, the film itself is cemented onto an injection-molded ring and has the same thermal expansion properties as the AstroSolar Filter material. This free-floating film-carrier ring is securely held onto the aluminum frame by a reinforced plastic holding ring, maximising security against film breakage. Included in the package are two sets of 38mm-long centering bolts (three 10mm diameter and three 20mm diameter), along with three safety straps with glue-on pads, ensuring a comprehensive and user-friendly installation experience. *Please ensure to read the instructions carefully when attaching and using any AstroSolar Filters for safe use.
