One of the best investments nature lovers can ever get is a pair of binoculars. But in the shops no one ever sells binoculars for whale watching or a shark-watching one. Not specifically, anyway. Look out for birdwatching binoculars because their specifications, coated-lenses and precision focussing and colour accuracy also make them ideal whale-watching gear.
