With a 4-element construction, the Celestron Omni 40mm Eyepiece (1.25") is a Plössl eyepiece that offers great views at an even better price. The optics of this eyepiece are coated with multiple layers of high-transmission coatings to produce images that are bright and clear. The edges of these high-quality optics are blackened to increase contrast and prevent internal reflections.
The chassis of the Omni 40mm 1.25-inch Eyepiece is constructed with Anodised Aluminium, creating an aesthetic matte finish that minimises glare and reflections. The Omni 40mm incorporates a rubber eyecup to make viewing as comfortable as possible. These eyecups can also easily be folded down to accommodate individuals who wear glasses. With the 40mm Omni Series Eyepiece, you'll also love the rubberised grip that offers non-slip handling during observation sessions in the dark.
All Celestron Omni Series Eyepieces features a threaded barrel which accepts 1.25" filters across most brands.
