This is amazing for observing objects at zenith, directly overhead, where other telescope mounts would falter.
With its large payload capacity of 8kg, the saxon AZ5 Mount with Steel Tripod is capable of carrying small and medium sized telescopes and spotting scopes. This mount is made of powder-coated aluminium, the tripod of stainless steel and contains smooth worm gears on both altitude and azimuth axes.
