Overview
The Celestron 1.25-inch Star Diagonal allows observation of objects that are at a 90° angle from the direction the telescope is pointing. This makes it one of the most common and useful telescope diagonals for any astronomer.
This Celestron star diagonal allows for comfortable viewing, especially when the telescope is pointed at or near the zenith (directly overhead), preventing neck strain. It's a must-have star diagonal for telescope users with refractors or catadioptric telescopes.
The resulting image produced by this star diagonal is right-side up, but it will be reversed from left to right. This is standard for all telescope diagonals of this type and is not a problem for astronomical viewing.

For Refractors: Slides directly into the 1.25" focuser.

For Schmidt-Cassegrains (SCTs): Requires a 1.25" Visual Back to be threaded onto the rear cell first. This diagonal then slides into the Visual Back.

Not for use with Newtonian reflectors.
