Increase your field of view 

The Celestron 2" Eyepiece and Filter Kit includes all the neccessary eyepieces and filters required to dabble with 2" accessories. The E-lux Eyepieces feature a new three-element design with a wide 56º apparent field of view, on par with Plossl Eyepieces but with a improved light transmission. There are three eyepieces ranging from 26mm to 40mm for a versatile selection. Also included iare 2x barlow lens to double the magnification of all eyepieces included in the kit, and 5 colour filters for use with galaxies and planets.

Why 2" over 1.25" accessories?

2" Eyepieces are known to perform better at lower magnifications (focal lengths) compared to 1.25" eyepieces. In comparison, 2" eyepieces can produce a wider apparent field of view, fully utilising the capacity of your refractor and cassegrain telescopes.
