A premium astrograph
The Celestron 36cm RASA v2 is a high-performance astrograph designed for advanced wide-field astrophotography. Equipped with premium optics, it effectively eliminates field curvature, off-axis coma, and chromatic aberration thanks to the extra-low dispersion (ED) glass and flat focal plane. With its groundbreaking f/2.2 design and an extended spectral range of 400-900nm, it enables the detection of brighter signals by the camera, making it ideal for capturing stunning, high-quality images of the night sky.
Ultra-Stable Focus System
The RASA 36 v2 is equipped with the new Ultra-Stable Focus System (USFS), which minimises focus shift and mirror flop. Thanks to its precision linear ball bearing, this feature ensures there is no unwanted lateral movement of the primary mirror during focusing, providing a more stable and reliable imaging experience.
