The Advanced VX is one of Celestron's most affordable Computerised German Equatorial (EQ) Mounts. But this doesn't mean you're compromising on quality for price!

The AVX has a number of Celestron's best technologies. For example All-Star Polar Alignment helps improve the accuracy of your polar alignment, saving you time and effort. The AVX includes access to Celestron's PWI (CPWI) Telescope Control Software, which lets you control your mount with your PC and guides you through setup and use across the night sky. You'll also enjoy how easy it is to set up this computerised mount with SkyAlign Technology.

Importantly, with PPEC, the Advanced VX Mount offers accurate tracking over long-exposures for crystal-clear images and streak-free stars.

The included AVX Mount features an impressive payload capacity of 13.6kg, more than enough to support the 8-inch EdgeHD SCT OTA, even when used with accessories or a camera.

To add to its sturdiness, the Advanced VX Mount features a dual saddle plate for compatibility with both a CG-5 and CGE Dovetail. It's super easy to switch between saddle plates, which means you can use the AVX with almost any OTA within its payload capacity.
