The rugged, aluminium Celestron C9.25 SCT Optical Tube Assembly (OTA) is more than just a great-looking exterior. With a Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) optical design, the C9.25 remains portable whilst offering excellent views of the night sky. When paired with Celestron's StarBright XLT Coatings, the huge 9.25-inch aperture of this telescope offers brilliant views of faint deep sky objects, with light gathering potential 1127 times that of a human eye. This makes the C9.25 extremely versatile, and a great telescope to use for the craters of the moon, the planets and deep sky objects such as galaxies and nebulae. Use the Celestron Focal Reducer Lens to bring the focal ratio down to f/6.3 for even more impressive views of deep sky objects.
The Celestron C9.25 is a great choice that is compatible with many different computerised mounts - a testament to the included CGEM-Style Dovetail Bar.
