94314
The Celestron Deluxe Mars Observing Telescope Accessory Kit is designed for any telescope that accepts 1.25” eyepieces and provides essential tools for observing Mars, along with other celestial objects like Jupiter, Saturn, and the Moon.
The kit includes a 2x Power Doubling Lens that doubles the magnification of any 1.25” eyepiece, allowing for a more detailed view of Martian features. This lens also has built-in T-threads for attaching a DSLR camera for high-magnification lunar and planetary photography (note: a T-ring is required, sold separately).
Also included are three planetary filters and a premium Mars filter:
#80A Light Blue Planetary Filter: Improves the study of surface features and polar caps on Mars.
#56 Green Planetary Filter: Enhances contrast for Martian polar caps, low clouds, and dust storms.
#25 Red Planetary Filter: Sharpens details of the Martian surface by reducing light from blue and green areas, highlighting deserts and dust clouds.
Mars Filter: Combines the benefits of red and blue filters to reveal more detail while allowing more light through.
All components are housed in a storage case for easy organisation and protection. This accessory kit is suitable for both amateur and experienced astronomers seeking to observe and photograph planetary details.
