This OAG telescope accessory works by using its prism to intercept a small portion of a telescope's focal plane to locate a guide star. This method corrects for tracking errors and flexure between a guidescope and the main optical tube. The prism on this Celestron off axis guider can be adjusted to move closer to or further from the center of the focal plane, a useful adjustment for different-sized imaging cameras.
