The Celestron Dew Heater Ring - 8-inch is an efficient and user-friendly dew control system designed for Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. It prevents dew formation by providing consistent heat to the corrector plate, ensuring clear and uninterrupted observations even on cool nights. To install this dew ring, remove the plastic retaining ring on the OTA, and replace it with the Celestron Dew Heater Ring. The Celestron Dew Heater Ring comes in a variety of sizes, suitable for all ranges of the Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain series.
For optimal performance, combine the Celestron Dew Heater Ring with the DewHeater Controller system (sold separately) which enables the user to control the temperature of your system. However, it can be used independently.
