The Celestron Dew Heater Ring - 9.25-inch is a very user-friendly dew control system for your Celestron schmidt-cassegrain telescope.  To install this dew ring, remove the plastic retaining ring on the OTA, and replace it with the Celestron Dew Heater Ring. This ring will prevent dew formation that occurs on cool observing nights by providing a constant flow of heat to your corrector plate. The Celestron Dew Heater Ring comes in a variety of sizes, suitable for all ranges of the Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain series. 

For optimal performance, combine the Celestron Dew Heater Ring with the DewHeater Controller system (sold separately) which enables the user to control the temperature of your system. However, it can be used independently.
