The Celestron Labs CM800 Compound Biological Microscope is a student's microscope incorporating the latest technologies in modern biological studies at an affordable price. Graced with 5 magnifications: 40x/ 100x / 250x / 400x / 800x applicable for several different uses, the Celestron Labs microscope allows students to study to great detail various biological specimens including plant samples, animal samples, geological structures.
The microscope features a monocular head with a 45° incline for comfortable viewing. It includes wide-field eyepieces (WF 10x and WF 20x) paired with three achromatic objectives (4x, 10x, 40x) on a rotating nosepiece, offering five total magnifications: 40x, 80x, 100x, 200x, 400x, and 800x. Perfect for student, home or laboratory use, this microscope incorporates an all-metal construction for extra durability, a condenser, microscope stage and top and bottom illumination. A simple rotating disc diaphragm with six aperture sizes allows for controlled light adjustment. Powered using 3 AA batteries (included) or alternatively, through a universal AC adapter (100-240V). 10 prepared slides are also included to get you started in the world of microscopy.
