With the SkyPortal WiFi Module, you'll be able to align and GoTo over 100,000 objects in the SkyPortal database with the SkyPortal App, available on Android & iOS.
With the SkyPortal App, your smartphone or tablet turns into your own personal planetarium / observatory! You'll have access to hundreds of audio descriptions and astroimages of some of the most popular night sky objects, such as the planets, the Orion Nebula & the Hercules Globular Star Cluster, to name a few. With the SkyPortal App's 'Tonight's Best' feature, you'll be able to browse through a list of the best objects to view based on your current time and location.
And since you're observing straight from your smart device, there's no need to input GPS coordinates or set the time and the date. The Celestron SkyPortal App will work that out for you automatically.

It's super easy to get started with the SkyPortal WiFi Module! All you need to do is plug the SkyPortal Module into your telescope's hand controller or AUX port. To connect your Android / Apple iOS smartphone or tablet, make sure you have the SkyPortal App installed and open. From there, all you need to do is connect to the SkyPortal from your device's WiFi settings, and you're ready to go! Your smartphone or tablet is now a wireless hand controller for your Celestron Computerised Telescope.
