Introducing the Celestron Smart DewHeater Controller 2x, the ultimate solution to prevent dew and frost buildup on your telescope optics during cold and damp nights.
Featuring a compact and lightweight design, the Smart DewHeater Controller 2x is extremely easy to set up and use. Simply plug in your two dew heaters strips into the device and the Celestron Smart DewHeater Controller 2x can adjust the temperature and humidity of your scope based on data from the ambient temperature and humidity that it receives. This keeps your dew heater strips at the optimal point that prevents dew from forming and prolongs battery life. This device can be mounted onto your telescope's tripod leg or standard dovetail bar.
When using the Celestron Smart DewHeater Controller 2x, you have the ability to power 2 dew heaters and a third 12V output port for your desired third device. While this controller is built for use with compatible Celestron Dew Heater Rings with built-in thermisters, you can use third-party dew heater rings with it. Simply use a Celestron thermister to each third party dew heater ring and it can also monitor the temperature as well.
The device can be controlled through your compatible Nexstar+ hand controller, or through CPWI and your PC.
