How is the Celestron StarSense Explorer App different from the Celestron SkyPortal App?
The StarSense Explorer App requires a telescope with an unlock code to work and is designed to be paired specifically with StarSense telescopes.
The SkyPortal App is designed for general use, for observers of all skill levels, regardless of whether they have a telescope.
Why do objects in the sky appear to drift out of my field of view over time?
This occurs due to the Earth's rotation. To compensate, you'll need to move your telescope occasionally to follow the object as it moves across the sky.
Can I use StarSense Explorer to find my way through the sky during the day?
No, the sky during the day is too bright to view and locate astronomical objects.
