This method is an excellent choice for short-exposure images of terrestrial subjects, the Moon, and planets. With a proper guidescope, prime-focus can also be used for long-exposure deep sky photography.
This T-Adapter threads directly onto the rear cell of a Celestron EdgeHD 9.25, 11, or 14-inch Optical Tube Assembly. It provides a standard male 42mm T-thread for attaching a camera adapter, such as a camera-specific T-Ring (sold separately). Once the T-Ring is attached to your camera, it securely screws onto this T-Mount adapter, creating a safe and solid connection.
