The Celestron Ultima Edge 10mm Eyepiece delivers exceptional clarity and sharpness from the center to the edge of its 60° apparent field of view. Designed for 1.25” focusers, this Ultra Flat Field eyepiece features a fully multi-coated, 5-element lens system that maximises light transmission, making it ideal for observing planets, stars, and the Moon’s surface with high magnification.
The eyepiece offers 16mm of eye relief and a fold-down rubber eyecup for comfortable viewing, catering to both eyeglass wearers and non-eyeglass wearers. Its robust design includes a machined aluminum body with a black anodised finish and a molded rubber grip ring for secure handling, even during long observing sessions or while wearing gloves.
The 1.25" barrel is internally threaded to accept standard filters and adapters, and it is compatible with 1.25” star diagonals and focusers, ensuring versatility in various setups.
One of its standout features is its parfocal design, which allows seamless transitions between other Ultima Edge eyepieces (except the 24mm model) without the need for refocusing. This convenient feature saves time and enhances efficiency during observing sessions.
