The Celestron Ultima Edge 15mm Eyepiece is designed to deliver ultra-sharp, edge-to-edge clarity across a wide 65° apparent field of view. With an 8-element lens design and fully multi-coated optics, this Ultra Flat Field eyepiece ensures excellent light transmission and crisp views, making it perfect for observing planets, stars, and the Moon’s surface in high magnification.
The eyepiece provides 16mm of eye relief, offering comfortable viewing for both eyeglass wearers and non-eyeglass wearers. Its fold-down rubber eyeguard adds convenience, allowing users to adapt their viewing experience. The eyepiece is built with durability and precision, featuring a machined aluminum body with a black anodised finish and a molded rubber grip ring for secure handling during extended observing sessions.
The 1.25" mounting barrel is internally threaded to accept standard 1.25" filters and adapters. It is fully compatible with 1.25” star diagonals and focusers, ensuring versatility for various telescope setups.
One of its standout features is the parfocal design, enabling seamless transitions between other Ultima Edge eyepieces (except the 24mm model) without needing to refocus. This feature enhances efficiency, making observing sessions more enjoyable and productive.
