The Celestron X-Cel LX 7mm 1.25" Eyepiece is great for observing the planets, the moon and smaller deep-sky objects. With a focal length of 7mm, this eyepiece will improve the magnification of most telescopes. Use it alone to observe larger objects like the Moon and deep sky objects, or pair it with a 2x Barlow Lens and bring the eyepiece focal length down to 3.5mm - perfect for the smaller planets!
The Celestron X-Cel LX Series Eyepieces are built to high-quality with six-element, fully multi-coated optics delivering impressive views. The egdes of the optics are also blackened for increased contrast.
With a chassis made of black-anodised aluminium, the X-Cel is protected by a threaded rubber grip ensuring a non-slip grip at all time. With twist-up eyecups, The Celestron X-Cel Eyepieces also allow for a comfortable 16mm of eye relief, making them perfect for everyone - whether you wear glasses or not.
The 1.25-inch insert barrel of the X-Cel is threaded to accept 1.25-inch filters.
