Click & Collect – Melbourne & Sydney

Enjoy free Click & Collect from our Melbourne and Sydney stores when you shop online at Optics Central – Australia’s Optics Superstore. Order your telescope, microscope, or binoculars online and pick them up in-store, usually within 4 hours for in-stock items.

How to Place a Click & Collect Order

1. Add your items to the cart. Check that each item is shown as In Stock at your preferred store.
2. Proceed to checkout.
3. Select “Click & Collect” as your shipping method.
   – For Melbourne pick-ups, enter your Victorian address.
   – For Sydney pick-ups, enter your New South Wales address.
4. Place your order.
5. Wait for confirmation. We’ll contact you via email once your order is ready to collect.

When Will My Order Be Ready?

• In-stock items: Ready within 4 hours during business hours.
• Out-of-stock items: We’ll notify you when your full order is ready for pick-up.

Where to Collect Your Order

We aim to have all Click & Collect orders ready within 4 hours, subject to stock availability. To maximise chances of same-day pick-up, order only in-stock items. If a component must be ordered in, we’ll notify you when the entire order is ready unless otherwise arranged.

Collection Hours

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
• Saturday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Collecting Your Order

After you receive our “Ready for Collection” email, you can collect your order anytime during opening hours. For a COVID-Safe, Contactless Click & Collect, call 1300 884 763 from your car with your order number and name and our staff will bring your order to you. Alternatively, you’re welcome to head into the store to pick up your items.

Orders are held for up to 90 days from notification. After this period, uncollected orders may be refunded where possible.
