To our OpticsCentral community,
We know that there are a lot of questions about how the latest government announcements will affect Optics Central. As a business, we are committed to the health and safety of our community, customers, and team - this is our number one priority. It is why we're closely monitoring the impact of the current health situation both locally and around the globe.
As of August 5th, 11:59 pm, and in compliance with the latest Victorian regulations, we have shut our doors for all store visitors for the duration of the 6 weeks Stage 4 Restrictions in Melbourne. However, our online store will remain operating as per usual to minimise any disturbances to our customers who have very patiently endured some unfortunate delays during this stressful period. We will still be fulfilling orders daily to ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner.
Our Warehouse will also be available for contactless click-and-collect services for eligible orders only. To protect the wellbeing of our staff and all customers, please contact us to arrange a contactless pickup time and call us from outside our warehouse. We will then bring your order to the Warehouse doors from which you may collect your order. We strongly appreciate your cooperation with following these added guidelines.
Furthermore, we will continue enforcing strict preventative measures including:
- Increasing the frequency and standard of cleaning routines in store
- Reinforcing best hygiene practices
- Ensuring team members who feel unwell stay at home
- Suspending the Optics Central VIP nights
