It does not clip on to your day scope, instead allows the scope ring adapter to connect to your scope. HikMicro Thunder 40A Series Scope Adapter The Hikmicro Thunder 40A Scope Adpater allows the Thunder Series thermal devices to be used as a clip-on. The 40mm adapter is suited for scopes with an outside diameter between 40mm and 49mm. HikMicro Thunder 50A Series Scope Adapter The Hikmicro Thunder 50A Scope Adpater allows the Thunder Series thermal devices to be used as a clip-on.
