iOptron CEM26B Mount with AccuAlign and LiteRoc Tripod

The iOptron CEM26B is a next-generation, compact centre-balanced equatorial mount designed for astrophotographers who need precision, portability, and advanced functionality. Weighing only 4.5kg, the CEM26B supports an impressive 12kg payload, achieving a remarkable 2.6:1 payload-to-mount weight ratio. This is made possible by iOptron’s innovative centre-balanced design, which distributes the mount and equipment weight directly over the tripod for enhanced natural stability. Building on the success of previous CEM models, the CEM26B introduces brand new features for enhanced usability.

These include:

- A positive-lock gear engagement system, easy to use even with gloves

- Built-in Wi-Fi for seamless control and connectivity

- Recordable Permanent Periodic Error Correction (PPEC) for repeatable, precise tracking

Polar alignment is quick and convenient thanks to the integrated AccuAlign™ optical polar scope, which remains unobstructed by the declination shaft. The mount also includes an adjustable counterweight bar, helping to avoid interference with the tripod during setup.

Equipped with the powerful Go2Nova® GOTO system, the CEM26B offers precise pointing accuracy and a database of over 212,000 celestial objects. The intuitive hand controller features a large 4-line LCD screen, making object location and telescope control simple—even for beginners.

The CEM26B is paired with a LiteRoc heavy-duty stainless steel tripod, providing a stable, rugged foundation ideal for backyard setups or portable deep-sky imaging.
