The Optolong CLS Filter - EOS C Clip In is a clip-in filter for unmodified Canon EOS DSLR cameras. This clip-in filter blocks artificial light sources, partiuclarly mercury vapour lamps, both high and low pressure sodium vapour lights and the skyglow from our atmosphere. Simultaneously while reducing unwanted light pollution, the CLS Filter is transparent to the main nebula emission lines: OIII, H-beta, NII, H-alpha and SII.
Considered as an all-rounder, the CLS Filter is perfect for astrophotography with your Canon EOS DSLR camera. With a thin 1mm glass, this clip-in filter fits snuggly in your DSLR without the use of a separate UV/IR filter.
Compared to regular light pollution filters, the Optolong CLS Filter increase the contrast between nebulae and night sky.
