The Pulsar Quantum HSQ19 Thermal Imaging Camera is designed for detection and observation during both daylight and nighttime hours, and under conditions where other optical devices such as binoculars, spotting scopes and night vision devices are inefficient. It will also perform exceptionally well in poor weather conditions such as fog and smoke, can handle obstacles like grass or bushes. At the core of the Pulsar Quantum HSQ19 Thermal Imaging Camera is the unique combination of high 160 x 120 resolution microbolometer sensor, germanium lens F19/0.7 and frostproof OLED 640 x 480 display.

Activation and operation of the Pulsar Quantum HSQ19 Thermal Imaging Camera such as running time set-up, choice of video output signal, brightness and contrast adjustment can be performed with the help of the encoder wheel. The Quantum series are equipped with a jack allowing external power supplies to be attached. The thermal imagers also have a video output to conduct video recording to external devices during observation. Pulsar Quantum HSQ19 Thermal Imaging Camera features quick start-up time taking less than 10 seconds between the push of the ON button and readiness to begin operation. The image is stable without distortion across the whole field of view and without “tunnel effect”. Quantum thermal imagers can be used within a wide temperature range from -20 °С to +50 °С. 


  • External power supply - Operation time of the unit can be significantly increased thanks to the use of external power supplies that can be connected with a special jack. When used in frosty weather, the power supply can be stored under the clothes

  • Silent microbolometer calibration - In the event that image quality deteriorates (lower contrast, overexposure in the field of view), the user can calibrate the microbolometer. This operation is absolutely noiseless
  • Brightness and contrast control - The control wheel located next to the lens allows the user to setup brightness and contrast most appropriate for each specific situation
  • Self-contained power supply - Powered with four AA size (rechargeable) batteries. The batteries are stored in a container which is inserted in the battery compartment of the unit
  • Video output - All Quantum models are equipped with an analogue video output to enable connection of external recording equipment or transmitting the image to the display
