Small but powerful, this is how users of this QHY5-III would define this tiny but robust camera. Featuring extremely low readout noise, 1920x1080 full HD resolution.

Using the Sony STARVIS illuminated CMOS sensor, this camera is the best performing planetary camera. It can capture magnitude 9 stars when connected with a 50mm f/1.4 C-mount lens. The IMX236 sensor in use is twice the sensitibity in visible light and three times more in near infrared wavelength.

1/2.8 inch sensor size, making this camera the highest sensitivity sensor from Sony with such small pixel size

The next generation of the QHY5L-II series.

Equipped with advanced thermal design, The heat generated by the CMOS sensor is transferred externally to the telescope's eyepiece tube. Additional heat is transferred to a heat sink on the location ring and cooled by outside air.

Ideal imaging camera for a smooth and high quality astrophotography experience.
