The QHY 5-III174M Planetary Guiding Camera is designed for high-performance lunar, and solar imaging and guiding with a compatible guide scope. Equipped with a 1/1.2-inch Sony Exmor IMX174 CMOS sensor and a global shutter, this camera captures sharp and clear images. The large pixel size of 5.86μm and high quantum efficiency (QE) ensure excellent sensitivity, making it a powerful choice for capturing detailed solar images. With the capability to produce high frame rates through its USB 3.0 interface, the QHY5III174 delivers up to 138 frames per second at full resolution, and up to 490 FPS with a Region of Interest (ROI). This speed allows for highly detailed and smooth video capture, especially valuable for planetary imaging and guiding. Typical of the QHY5III series, the camera supports guiding functions, featuring a custom ST-4 guide port and compatibility with 1.25-inch, CS, and C-mount telescope interfaces.
