Proudly introducing the highest resolution camera in the QHY5III CMOS USB3.0 series; this 6MP resolution camera is your perfect imaging tool for high resolution planetary imaging, entry level deep sky imaging, as well as wide field of view, precise autoguiding.
QHY5III178 is great for precise autoguiding. Featuring small 2.4um pixel size and a bigger 1/1.8 inch sensor size, this camera keeps a wide field of view to get many guide stars, therefore converts to a high precision guiding experience.
As for deep sky imaging, the QHY5III178 does a fantastic job in reducing the amplifer glow significantly by adding in the anti-amp glow function. Users can enjoy imaging their favourite deep sky objects without interuption.
This camera has incorporated Sony's STARVIS BSI image sensor, which means the STARVIS back illuminated pixel technology has enabled the cameras for high sensitivity applications, featuring sensitivity of 2000mV or more per 1um^2 and high picture quality in visible light and near infrared(IR) regions.
1.25'' eyepiece design
High heat transfer efficiency to the exterior case for lower noise, especially in high ambient temperatures.
Equipped with LEMO style connector for dependability and ruggedness for the guide socket
