The QHY Gen 3 Small 7 Position Electronic Colour Filter Wheel is designed to enhance your imaging setup with advanced features and precision. This filter wheel accommodates 1.25-inch and 31mm unmounted filters, making it versatile for various observational needs. Featuring a new motor with direct drive, the QHYCFW3 filter wheel efficiently navigates between filter positions by reversing direction to minimise rotation, thereby speeding up filter changes. This function is particularly beneficial during extensive imaging sessions, saving valuable time. The filter wheel includes an LED system that changes color for each filter position, allowing you to easily identify the current filter without removing it from the telescope. The tricolor LED provides a visual confirmation of the selected filter, enhancing accuracy and convenience. With its slim profile and short back focus, the CFW3 filter wheel integrates seamlessly with QHY COLDMOS cameras, allowing for the addition of camera lens adapters for Canon and Nikon lenses, facilitating wide-field imaging. The filter wheel is equipped with a 12-volt DC power port, which is threaded for a secure connection using the supplied extension cable, preventing accidental disconnections during use.
