The QHY 165C is a colour imaging camera used for astrophotography, it comes with a magnificent 16-megapixel sensor. The APS-C color sensor has an array of 4.8um pixels. Also, this model can go up to 3.2e at lowest gain and 2.3e at high gain, displaying a dynamic range of approximately 14 stops! Also, the QHY 165C has a strong temeprature regulation system that is able to cool the camera down to up to -40C below ambient. This camera is fully protected and has a silicon gel tube socket and a heater to prevent the sensor window and the sensor from dew or moist particles (even during damp nights!)
The best part is that the camera is coated with AR+AR instead of the conventional IR-Cut. This eliminates the halos that are usually created around bright stars, resulting in clear images.
