The QHY 695A is a fantastic camera for astrophotography, it uses the Sony ICX695 ExView II CCD which comes with a 6-megapixel sensor, low read noise of 4 electrons and exceptionally low thermal noise which results in clean and sharp images. This model also comes with in-built OAG and filter wheel, it has 8 positions for 1.25" mounted filters. The filter wheel being in-built saves some space between the telescope and the camera.
This model also comes with an internal USB hub which comes with USB to dual RS232 converter and two USB ports. If an electric focuser, mount or a guiding camera needs to be connected, it can be done directly to the 695A, instead of connecting it to a computer. This makes it clutter free and reduces the possibility of losing signal, which is more prone with long cables.
This camera also uses a butterfly shaped motorised shutter. It has unlimited operating life and does not cause any abrasion to the other parts. This shutter is great as it is double sided; used to open and close the shutter.

If you would like to return an item to us for an Exchange or Refund, we are happy to do so within 30 days of purchase as long as the item is in its original condition with all of the original packaging. Please note that return shipping is at the expense of the customer and Refunds will exclude the original shipping fees.
