I was expecting a little telescope which sits on my desk. When the courier guy came with 2 big boxes, I knew straight away this is alot larger than what I was expecting. Just to be sure, I thought I'd check the box to make sure this was a Dobsonian 6" which I ordered.

Looks great, can be hard to carry but once you get it out there, it is worth the effort. I used to have a small telescope I bought from the post office and this is on a completely different level. The Moon is actually bright and sharp! Saturn just used to be a blur and I can see the actual rings now.
