I bought a Celestron C8 on a Skywatcher EQ6-R Mount which is an ideal combination for me in field data gathering. The weight is optimal for the stability and accuracy, and I can run the entire gear (with camera and computer) from a single 12V lithium power supply throughout the entire night. The finderscope is lilluminated and works very well. I managed to see double stars using this set-up, and the kit really does have excellent twin point focus!

Optics Central has a great team to work with! Yune is terrific with emails, and Andrew gave great consultation during my visit to their Mitcham store!
