Yukon Spotting Scope 6-100X100 Spotter
- Product Review (submitted on 27 March 2015):
If you have the bob I would recommend this over most telescopes for the compact ability and easy to use zoom.
However I would recommend using a good sturdy tripod for stargazing and zooming in that extra distance.
On a good night you should be able to see Jupiters bands and 4 of its moons.
The moon fills the lense.
I haven't been out of the light polluted suburbs to try and see more of the Milky Way yet.
My mate used it and mentioned it's a lot more clear than his expensive reflector scope.
Very useful from watching boats in the harbour to stars in the sky.
Great for all levels of astronomy as it lets in enough light and is excellent for land base viewing.
