Keep your telescope precisely aligned at all times with the use of a Saxon 1.25" Cheshire Collimator Eyepiece. The Cheshire collimator eyepiece consists of a peephole opening on one end of the tube and thin crosshairs at the opposing end to make the entire collimation process easier and quicker. This is because the 45 degree internal surface projects light into optical path to facilitate primary mirror alignment. To begin collimation, simply insert the Cheshire collimator eyepiece in the focuser in place of the usual eyepiece and follow the alignment instructions.
