At 10-inches, this Dobsonian features a 1200mm focal length that helps you see closely into the moon, locate nebulae or other deep sky objects while preserving clarity and edge to edge vision. The scope also produces crisp and clear images because of its primary mirror build that eliminates spherical aberration and diffraction. 

With Pyrex® glass used in the viewing lens, very little thermal expansion can happen to the glass due to varying temparatures. This consistency allows the glass to produce high quality images at all times and weather conditions. Pyrex® glass is also one of the best glass in the market that resists scratching. Only available in the 10" version. 

Tension Control Handle

This Saxon 10" Dobsonian Telescope is fitted with a Tension Control Handle (US Patent #6,940,642), to provide a tension adjuster so that users can easily turns to add or reduce tension, thereby increasing or decreasing the friction between the optical tube and the sideboard of the mount. Telescopes then need not be balanced in order to stay in position. A tension adjuster also allows the optical tube to stay in position although the tube can still be moved when prompted. 

The Saxon 10" Dobsonian Telescope is covered by a 5-Year Warranty.
