This mighty intelligent tube features a 1500mm focal length, which although colossal, can collapse at the tube to offer portability and transportability. With 10mm and 25mm eyepieces accompanying this telescope, you are afforded more than sufficient magnification to experience beautiful nebulae and galaxies. As an astronomy enthusiast, you'll appreciate the 2" Crayford focuser that comes with the Saxon 12" Collapsible Dobsonian Telescope (12 inch). This particular focuser ensures extra smooth and precise focusing, which will be extremely useful when trying to look at the finer details of planets. Also comes with a 1.25" adapter so this scope can take eyepieces of any size.  The collapsible version of this 12" Dobsonian was designed with improvements made to the 12" version. This scope can be folded inward in the middle so that the tube shortens to save you space. When the scope is required, it can be easily assembled without any tools involved. Since the scope sits on a heavy and stable flat-based mount with Saxon's proprietary Tension Control Handle, viewing at such high magnifications becomes less troublesome. Tension Control Handle This  Saxon 12" Collapsible Dobsonian Telescope is fitted with a Tension Control Handle (US Patent #6,940,642), to provide a tension adjuster so that users can easily turn to add or reduce tension, thereby increasing or decrease the friction between the optical tube and the sideboard of the mount. Telescopes then need not be balanced to stay in position.
