The Saxon ED80 AZ3 Refractor Telescope is a complete beginner refractor scope, suitable for landviewing,  digiscoping, lunar viewing and basic astronomical observation of constellations and star clusters. With a focal length of 600mm and a generous aperture of 80mm, a beginner astronomer is offered generous resolution, light gather power and a perfect focal distance to learn to scan the night sky. To complete the set, the ED 80 AZ3 comes with a AZ3 mount, 6x30 finderscope, 90 degree star diagonal, Super 1.25" 10mm and Super 25mm eyepieces.

The Saxon ED80 AZ3 Refractor Telescope features an ED lens (Extra-Low Dispersion) to provide higher resolution, excellent contrast and completely eliminated colour fringing that sometimes occur on normal lenses. Furthermore, the 2" Crayford focuser aids and simplifies focusing, allowing for more precise focus compared to a standard rack and pinion. These make this telescope an ideal solution for astrophotography due to reduced image distortion. While it is great for looking at the Moon and star clusters straight out of the box, an optional barlow lens is highly recommended if you are keen studying the planets. 

Weighing only 10kg (for everything including packaging), the saxon ED80AZ3 Refractor Telescope also makes for a great travel telescope!
