The saxon ED80 Refractor Telescope features FPL-53 extra-low dispersion glass which significantly reduces chromatic aberration to virtually no colour fringing compared to standard achromatic refractors. Not only is the 80mm aperture and 600mm focal length (F/7.5) suitable for viewing the moon, planets, galaxies and star clusters at night, this telescope is also suitable for landviewing and digiscoping during the day. The refractor optical design enables the telescope's view to be correctly upright compared to other telescope designs. The 2" Crayford focuser with 1.25" Adapter also enables access to both 2" and 1.25" eyepieces and accessories for a wider field of view and wider array of accessories to be used. 

As the saxon ED80 Refractor Telescope - OTA Only weighs 2.5kg, this mount requires the EQ3 GOTO Mount and above.
