This new version of the saxon HEQ5 Pro Mount comes equipped with a dual saddle, suitable for mounting both narrow Vixen-style dovetails and wider Losmandy-style dovetails.

The saxon HEQ5 Pro GOTO Mount with Steel Tripod is a stepper driven German Equatorial HEQ5 mount. Recording a positioning accuracy up to 1 arc minute and Periodic error correction, the saxon HEQ5 Pro Mount is able to track objects accurately for visual and astrophotography use. The saxon HEQ5 Pro GOTO Mount also includes a built-in illuminated polar scope for aligning to Sigma Octans in the Southern Hemisphere, a latitude adjuster with micrometer scale, an azimuth polar-alignment adjuster, aluminium setting circles, large manual slow-motion tracking controls, a bubble level and height-adjustable stainless steel tripod legs. For even greater accuracy, the autoguiding port on the HEQ5 Mount will enable you to connect a guide camera for autoguiding.
With the included SynScan V5 Hand Controller, you can identify and track up to 42,9000 celestial objects from the complete Messier, NGC and IC Catalogues. If you're unsure about objects, the SynScan hand controller also has the "Unknown Object Identification" feature.
