The Saxon Novo 709 AZ3 Refractor Telescope has 36% greater light gathering capacity than traditional beginners' 60mm scopes. Additionally, the long focal length of 900mm allows high magnification allowing for great views throughout the sky and across the land. Being a refractor telescope, the saxon Novo 709AZ3 Refractor Telescope is suitable for terrestrial viewing as well as basic astronomy viewing of constellations, the moon and larger planets. A barlow lens (solds separately) is highly recommended for larger views of the planets.
Weighing just under 10 kg, the telescope is easily portable, and its lightweight construction means that is user-friendly to everyone in the family.
