Customer Reviews

Pleasantly surprised Review by Rob
Overall Score
Was looking for a nice mid size roof prism binocular for general birdwatching, sightseeing. Compared these to other Saxons in the range and although more expensive, they gave a very sharp, bright picture comparible to other more expensive branded roof prisms I have tried as well. Eye cups are excellent and easy to deploy and you can see the full field at full extention too. Did I mention they are solid! Which I love. Close focus is great at about 2-3m. Focus wheel is very smooth and diopter works well and seems to stay put. Only gripe is lack of a tripod thread and the neck strap is a little flimsy. The lens covers provided stay put which is good.
I was considering Vanguard / Nikon / Pentax / Kowa roof prisms before I tried these... I feel these were better value.
