The Saxon Variable-Projection Camera Adapter is an excellent tool for photographing the moon, planets, and stars through a telescope using 1.25-inch eyepieces. This versatile adapter features a machined, sliding mechanism that allows for variable projection distances, making it ideal for eyepiece-projection photography. It eliminates the need to switch to a higher-power eyepiece for additional magnification.
For secure positioning, the adapter includes two thumbscrews that lock the sliding cell at the desired projection distance, and a third screw that locks the eyepiece in place. Additionally, a separable, thread-in unit enables prime-focus photography, expanding your imaging options.
Constructed from machined aluminum and brass, the adapter ensures durability and reliable performance. The 1.25-inch barrel is threaded for filters, adding versatility to your setup. To use with your 35mm camera body, a T-Mount (sold separately) is required.
