Featuring a collapsible truss tube on an altazimuth dobsonian base, the Skywatcher 16" Go-To Computerized Dobsonian Telescope is not only easy to use but excellent value. The innovative collapsible design includes a 3-point tube locking system for easy setup and storage. The telescope’s tube extends from 1071mm to 1685mm and weighs 24.9kg, combining portability with substantial light-gathering power. This design eliminates the need for disassembly or collimation between uses.

Coupled with a computerised Go-To mount with a built-in 49,200 object database for fast location and easy tracking, makes for a great User experience. Excellent for those who need some help finding their way around the night sky. The system supports multiple slew speeds (1x to 1000x) and tracking rates (sidereal, lunar, and solar), with alignment procedures including brightest-star and two-star alignment.

Nebulae, Galaxies, Planets and Star Clusters will be highly viewable. The surface detail of planets and the individual rings of Saturn will be easily observed.
