Made with Baader Astro Solar Safety Film, this filter delivers high optical performance akin to plane-parallel glass filters. The film features double-sided metal coatings that ensure excellent color balance, allowing you to view the Sun in its natural white light.
With this filter, you can observe sunspots, bright faculae near the solar limb, and the granular surface of the Sun with clarity. The filter transmits only 1/100,000 of visible light while reflecting 99.999% of unwanted light, significantly reducing ultraviolet and infrared rays. The Baader Astro Solar™ film has been certified for direct solar viewing by the German National Bureau of Standards, ensuring its safety and durability.
